PROJECTHROWDOWN 2011: TBMSport's Trailblazer SS 6L90E Conversion Build!

Well we didn't win...not enough time to iron out all the wrinkles, but we got a LOT of learning lessons on the TBSS, met some great people and had fun. 1 Jeep and 2 Fords (the Procharged Jeep SRT8 stomped everyone!) and not a single Chevy won. If we get the opportunity to come next year, we'll be prepared and WILL win!

Luckily we don't have to wait until 2012 to kick butt! Truckin' magazine has invited us THROWDOWN II 2011 at Holley's LS-Fest! Look for an even better performance during Sept. 9-11 in Bowling Green, Ky.

THROWDOWN 2011

In response to our invite by Truckin' magazine to partake in its inaugural 2011 THROWDOWN event, TBMSport had to up the ante. In order to meet the likely competition and beat them (not to mention represent the East Coast), we knew that our 5.3L 6L80 Trailblazer "RS" truck, while impressive, was not going to cut it.

So we contacted a few sources who take their products and services as seriously as we do and laid out a plan. We were going to build a high performance AWD Trailblazer SS that fits into your average enthusiast's budget and time frame and put a serious BEATDOWN at the THROWDOWN.
