The TBMSport
Triangulalting Brace Plate is a must for all GMT360 platforms (Trailblazer,
Envoy, Ascender, 97x, Rainier, Bravada) whether it is your daily driver,
weekend racer, or off road trail machine. Body on Frame vehicles like these are
strong, but still twist and flex…a lot. Body and frame flex not only lead to
squeaks, creaks, and rattles, but cracked windshields and numb/vague handling
characteristics.
Made of rigid, yet
lightweight 0.250" thick 6061-T6 aluminum, our Triangulating Brace Plate serves
3 important functions:
1) Reinforces the
steering rack mounting
2) Ties the front
"K-member" ties to the main frame,
3) Generating hot air
extraction from the engine compartment from below the vehicle where air pressure
is low.
Completely bolt in and reversible,
the TBMSport Triagulating Brace Plate comes with all the necessary hardware for
installation. Available in bare aluminum or durable black powder coat finish.
For even greater frame flex
reduction, use in conjunction with TBMSport’s Frame Crossmember System. The
combination will completely transform the way your vehicle handles, rides and
tows.

TBMSport’s new set of HD Triangulating Brace for the GMT360 platform (Trailblazer, SS, SSR etc) stiffens the front section of the frame where engine torque twist is most prevalent. The TBMSport’s heavy duty stiff design and optional durable black powdercoating insure a long life protection for our truck. Three Primary Benefits:
1) Engine oil filter and plug are still easily accessible
2) Improved driving
and stability dynamics. The lower frame support adds resistance to frame twist
and maintains better front suspension/steering and stability dynamics.
